Intended for girls and boys 8 to 12 years old, the Blizzard Program was developed by Curling Quebec and is offered by the TMR Curling Club in collaboration with the Town of Mount Royal. Throughout this 8-week program, one lesson of 90 minutes per week, kids will gradually learn the basics of curling through adapted exercises and fun activities. All your child needs is a pair of clean running shoes and a helmet.
Six Weeks to Get You Curling with Confidence
Register for a six-week journey of discovery and fun on the ice! In the first five weeks, our instructors will guide you through the essentials—learn how to slide, sweep, and play with skill and enthusiasm. You'll also gain a solid understanding of curling strategy, rules, and etiquette, helping you feel right at home on the rink.
In the sixth week, you'll transition into a friendly league tailored for new curlers. It’s the perfect way to put your new skills into action, meet fellow enthusiasts, and wrap up the Autumn session with camaraderie.
